A very well attended open day for new girls was held on 28th February 2004.

ALL girls welcome. Meet at Templepatrick Primary School on Saturday mornings from 1030-1200. Week night training is held during the spring and summer.

Clare was a member of the original Templepatrick Alexandra u13 squad formed in 1998, and has since gone on to represent Northern Ireland. We are delighted to welcome her back to The Alex.


Templepatrick Alexandra Girls squad completed their first ever competitive game on Sunday 30th May. At short notice they were invited down to play in Larne at the Larne Football Development Centre Weekend of Football versus a team called Lammack Juniors FC from Blackburn, England. With coach Clare Forsythe, the girls looked the part with the clubs new kit donated by Templepatrick FC and despite the result, the girls played hard for the 40 minute game without their heads dropping. The squad consisted of Naomi Bill, Katie Bryson, Zoe Cummings, Louise English, Esther Greenfield, Jessica Kidd, Helen Kenny & Emily Reid. Special thanks go to the parents who helped out during the morning, David Crawford for refereeing the game, Stephen Calvert (Newtownabbey Strikers) for inviting us to play and Jim Hagan (IFA Youth Development Officer) for organising the competition.
